I’m not sure why I’ve neglected to share this previously, but here it goes.
For a few months now, I’ve been using a set of custom OS X icons by a talented designer named Ollin Boer Bohan.
If you miss some of the depth/skeumorphism present in pre-OS X Yosemite app icons, you’ll like Bohan’s work.

I was especially inspired to post this today because of Apple’s releasing the Safari Technology Preview.
Wondering if Bohan had already created a “purple” version of his Safari/WebKit app icon, I tweeted him earlier today, and then just a few moments ago, Bohan answered me (indirectly):
@bouchenoiremarc Here's the purple Safari ICNS I had saved, if you'd like to try it out https://t.co/GY785Ou9fz pic.twitter.com/zU6Xwsms14

It seemed he made a purple version of the icon months before Apple had dropped the Safari Technology Preview.
